Angel - ex-polo pony 18-years-old

Angel came to us a year ago, in poor condition and with undiagnosed broken leg. She was ridden hard by a top polo team and had travelled with them all over the world. At 18 she was worn out and had a very cynical and suspicious view of humans. She had only known hard work and had never been listened to or understood, so she had given up trying to be heard. Here she is learning what it feels like to be loved and allowed to live freely in a herd as a natural horse.

She is a beautiful very sweet natured horse and has an inner strength which has helped her have the courage to deal with her ordeals.
