Wynner and Maytime are 'backed' (5)
Wynner and Maytime have just completed three weeks of hard work. They were willing and full of giving throughout; it makes one feel privileged and honoured to be around them. I know both of them will readily accept children having a little ride on them as part of their therapy. -

Angel's story (10)
Avispa renamed Angel, arrived in January and is an ex polo pony who played with the Big Bears polo team in her youth. Her life was harsh and without love, so after 17 years she was ready only for the meat lorry. She was rescued from that fate, suffered a hock injury before ending up with us here at Hopethruhorses. Her original name Avispa means aggressive wasp which seemed to me to be such an unkind name for such an extraordinarily sweet natured creature, I changed it to Angel to be the complete opposite. Take a look through the gallery to see her transformation. -
